We have an upcoming couch-event for all project participants! On December 18, 2023, at 19:00, a feature on the archaeological part of "United by Crisis?" will air on the program "Niederösterreich heute" of the ORF, the Austrian National Television.
Fortunately, the recordings took place in early November, before the onset of winter. The television crew of Tobias Mayr accompanied a group of citizen scientists and archaeologists on a field survey. Subsequently, they visited the restoration workshop and the permanent exhibition at MAMUZ Asparn to examine the findings. The production of the film footage was a new experience for part of the project team and very interesting. The equipment for lighting, camera, and sound recordings appeared impressive as well, and we are eager to see the results.
For those who cannot watch it: The segment of the series "Warum eigentlich?" will be available on the ORF TV-Thek for a week after its release.
